Shut Up!

Your Words Are KILLING ME

All Sherri Glass wants is to be valued as a woman in a happy marriage. But her mother taught her she was worthless, not essential, and her husband was so abusive he might kill her. Her mother’s humiliation and harsh words pelted Sherri Glass while she was growing up. Sherri believed those words with all her heart and mind.

So, when a chance for love appeared, she snatched it up without thought. But she chose wrong; she felt that she had to prove herself to her accusers.

The man she loves, the father of her children, and her mother who would just as soon belt her as kiss her. As she struggles to move forward and to keep her love for her husband strong, she gets messages that this isn’t the right path. But she cannot believe love would never come her way. Her mother has taught her that having an abusive man is better than having none, so Sherri puts up with hateful words, battering fists, and insincere apologies in the name of earthly love. Her abuse is ugly, sad, and dirty, but pure love is looking to hold and embrace her.

Will abuse close her heart forever, or will trust in God triumph so she can learn how to fly free? Shut Up! Your Words Are Killing Me! is a story of the impact of God’s love on a human being suffering unimaginable abuse.
